Duties: Coordinated the online submission process and subsequently judged submissions for inclusion on an electronic release of miniature electroacoustic works.

Vice President of Ossia, Eastman School of Music

Duties: Worked with the Ossia President and Treasurer and the Office of the Dean to manage the organization's budget. Acted as liaison between Ossia and Eastman Concert Office. Conducted an international composition competition and served as adjudicator.

Technical Director and Webmaster of Ossia, Eastman School of Music

Duties: Redesigned and updated the organization's website. Streamlined online submission process for international composition competition using Google Forms. Handled all technical planning and audio system setup for concerts involving music technology.

Coordinator of the Eastman Composers' Sinfonietta, Eastman School of Music

Duties: Managed the ensemble budget and worked with Eastman administration to pay performers. Scheduled concert and rehearsal dates and recruited performers for 15-18 member ensemble. Coordinated program preparation, stage change information, and special requests with the Concert Office.

Studio Projects

Summer 2013

Studio Renovation, Eastman Computer Music Center

  • Completely cleared out, reorganized, and recabled the computer and audio systems in the ECMC's 5.1-channel surround and 8.1-channel ambisonic studios.

  • Reconfigured and streamlined the two studio's patch bays and balanced the speaker systems.

  • Worked with the Physical Plant department to install a 55-inch LCD display for classroom teaching.

  • Installed a dual monitor desktop switch to allow switching between OSX and Linux computers in both studios.

  • Upgraded the ambisonic studio Macintosh computer to a brand new Mac Pro.

  • Installed sound file libraries, custom scripts, and audio software on new Mac Pro: Logic 9, Max/MSP, Supercollider, Csound, nGen.

Summer 2012

Audio System Installation, Eastman School of Music

  • Researched Mackie HR824 speakers, speaker wall mounts, and recommended appropriate purchases to ECMC and Eastman's Technology and Media Production department.

  • Worked with Technology and Media Productions to install a permanent 4-channel audio system in a rehearsal space for Switch~ Ensemble.

Summer 2009

Studio Upgrade, Music Technology Lab, University of Richmond

  • Researched and evaluated workstation desks, audio interfaces, MIDI keyboards, and recommended appropriate purchases to director Benjamin Broening.

  • Coordinated removal of old computers and workstation desks with Information Technology and Physical Plant departments.

  • Transitioned the studio size from 8 to 10 brand new Mac Pro computers.

  • Installed a wide range of audio software: Max/MSP, Digital Performer, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Kontakt, Finale, Ear Master.

  • Implemented a robust and secure computing environment by installing Deep Freeze, an application for restoring a computer from predetermined state.

  • Deployed OSX and software installations to computers by cloning each from a master system image.

  • Revamped the studio's central patch bay and audio system by installing a 16-channel inline mixer.
